Top Tips for Groom Prep:

  1. Get the Boys Ready Early—But Not TOO Early! Give yourself enough time to breathe and enjoy the morning without stress. A relaxed start will set the tone for the whole day. Just don’t leave it too late—there’s nothing worse than rushing through the prep.

  2. Have Your Shirt & Trousers Ready, But Save the Fun Stuff for After the Photographer Arrives You want to be almost ready, but leave the ties, cufflinks, and last-minute touches for when I arrive. That way, we can capture all those natural moments of you and the lads finishing off the look. Trust me, it’s way better than getting photos of you zipping up your trousers!

4. Beer, Banter, and Relaxation If you’re nervous, a bit of banter with the lads (and maybe a cold one) can help settle the nerves. But no need to overdo it—you don’t want to be the guy who’s late because he’s too busy having a laugh!

5. Don’t Panic About the Buttonholes—I've Got You Covered Here’s a fun one: I taught myself how to pin buttonholes on groomsmen from YouTube tutorials. Let me tell you, nobody knows how to do it, so don’t worry if the boys don’t have a clue. I’ll take care of it!

5. Make Sure You’ve Got Everything Double-check you have all the essentials: rings, vows, tie, shoes, and cufflinks. Nothing worse than having to send someone out last minute for the ring or the wedding band!

6. Be Present in the Moment This is a big day, but don’t overthink it. Focus on your mates, your family, and the excitement of what’s to come. The best photos happen when you’re just living in the moment.
