Christina & Aaron, The Rabbit Hotel & Loft, Templepatrick, N. Ireland

Christina and Aaron were married on 30th October 2021 at The Rabbit Hotel with their reception taking place in The Loft. This new venue in Templepatrick is the sister hotel of The Galgorm. We started off the day in Larne at Christina’s parents house before heading to The Rabbit, transport was provided by David Andrew’s cars and I had some time before the ceremony to get a few snaps of the boys. Christina and Aaron had a humanist ceremony preformed by Steve Ames which included a traditional handfasting ritual in which the bride and grooms hands are tied together to symbolise the binding of two lives… this is where “tying the knot” comes from! After the ceremony I took the couple straight up to the loft for some photos, with their guests arriving shortly after for a drinks reception. Official photos with bridal party and family were then taken in the gardens at the back of the hotel. The party kicked off with speeches and a tasty dinner which included sharing platters to start and roast dinner for main served in a special section of the loft where guests are served carvery style. After dessert the couple had sparklers and then some dancing!
